EXACT Stormwater Management is Hiring an Equipment Operator/Supervisor Near Midlothian, VA
Summary
This position is responsible running small earthwork jobs including installation of bioretention facilities, pavers and containment work.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of construction procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to shoot grade and safely operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to, excavator, high reach forklift and skid steer loader.
- Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
- Ability to conduct manual labor activities including hand digging, use of construction power tools, jack-hammers and trench tamping equipment.
- Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline oriented.
- This position requires physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance working in an open, outdoor environment. The applicant must be physically fit and able to perform labor required of the job including the ability to: lift and carry 70 pounds regularly and work safely in extreme weather (hot & cold).
