This position will have a flexible schedule for 20-30 hours a week and includes alternating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned maintenance and housekeeping tasks to assist the maintenance department in keeping our facility clean and safe.
• Take and follow procedures for new maintenance requests.
• Respond to emergencies within the building and contact outside vendors as needed to make repairs.
• Complete room flips, including painting, rug cleaning, and other necessary tasks to make rooms up to current standards.
• Provide assistance to maintenance director in keeping inventory of stock and disbursing stock as needed.
• Provide customer service to residents, guests and co-workers while completing assigned tasks and working throughout the building.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written English skills.
• Skills with being detail orientated, time management and professionalism.
• Must have IT Skills for resetting phones and televisions.
• No labor specific experience is necessary but willingness to learn basic cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Complete medical physical exam, with TB test (provided by Tennyson Court)
• Pass NYS Department of Health background check.
