Express Service Advisor Job Description:
The Huffines Express Service Advisor acts as the primary point-of-contact for customers arriving at the dealership via the service department's express lube lane. They provide a world-class experience by genuinely engaging with customers to document requested services and ensures they are rendered in a highly efficient manner while maintaining communication every step of the way.
Express Service Advisor Job Responsibilities:
Performs vehicle walk-around and documents customer concerns
Prioritizes required services and be prepared to provide options upon request
Advises customers of needed work and help them make informed decisions
Properly documents customer requests for communication to technicians
Books repair orders making sure everything is correct and complete
Keeps customer informed on the progress of their vehicle and completion time, service expenses, and possible changes
Quality checks work making sure it is fixed right the first time
Spends quality time building relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction
Handles customers efficiently and effectively from appointment to pickup
Inform customers when work is complete, inform customer what was done and why, and make future recommendations
