Job Description

Job Description
Join our growing company at Frontier Dermatology! We are a collective group of dermatology practices throughout Washington and Oregon committed to quality care.

A District manager (DM) is primarily responsible for the management of providers and support teams (front end and back end) and multiple health care clinics within a specific region.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. This is a salaried position and hours may vary

District Location: Mt Vernon District (Anacortes, Bellingham, Coupeville, Mt Vernon)

Wage Range: $90,000-$110,000 annual salary (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs and geographic market availability)

Essential Duties include the following:

  • Provides leadership to the assigned district, overseeing delivery of care, teams and clinics.
  • Directly manages front end support teams, back end clinical teams and providers within their district which requires regular travel within the assigned district.
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, training and retaining talent for their clinics.
  • Accountable for staffing, revenue and profitability of clinics in their district.
  • Monitor and approve provider time off in ADP (payroll system).
  • Reviews and analyzes district sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Collaborates with finance and operations to develop revenue goals for each location, monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to attract and retain teams and patients.
  • Execute marketing programs and promotions to increase revenue and/or introduce new products and services within their district.
  • Help open new office locations including onboarding and training on FDP best practices and systems.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in the district; implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
  • Schedules and directs regular meetings and events to share information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop budgets and strategy.
  • Executes identified strategic initiatives to deliver on district budget; monitors and approves expenses.
  • Maintains knowledge of market, competition, and best practices and trends in Dermatology.
  • Works with District Supervisor and Central Operations teams to open new clinics and onboard acquisitions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; OR
  • Extensive experience in sales and customer service in multi-clinic or retail operations

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of company's products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
