IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL LIVE AND WORK IN THE RICHMOND SURROUNDING AREA.

Whitten Brothers, a FAMILY OWNED and operated dealership, we serve the cities of Richmond, Ashland, Fredericksburg, Chester, Charlottesville, and the surrounding areas. Job is located in Richmond, VA.

Job responsibilities include-

• Performing multi point inspection of maintenance related items, topping off fluids, and safety inspection of tires and brakes
• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacement, and basic fluid services.
• Drive vehicles in and out of service bay in a safe and timely manner
• Completing all required documentation to keep in compliance with policy and procedures
• Maintaining a clean work space and personal appearance while performing services.
• Continuing training through Mopar Performance Institute

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous work experience with at least 1 year as a general service technician or higher in a repair facility required. 2 preferred but not required
• Good driving record (must be approved by our current insurance company- reviewed upon application)
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Not required, but state inspector preferred, but must be able to be qualified within 1 year of employment
• Strong work ethic, with an attentiveness to taking care of the guest
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend at knees/waist
• Ability to lift and bend up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
