Description

This position is responsible for taking the equipment principles, developing concepts and applying them to the Industry. Position is to partner with the Market Directors, Technical Directors and General Managers Asian Foundry and Non-Foundry in obtaining and analyzing engineering data, preparing layouts, estimates, quotations and order entry to provide our customers with products that meet their specifications. This position reports directly to the Director of New Business Development for prioritization of daily duties. 

Requirements

FUNCTIONS:
• Take a proactive approach in partnering with the team and other departments to provide customers with competitive and accurate proposals.
• Take ownership of accuracy of information transferred from the regional sales managers to the Company’s internal customers, including engineering, production, legal, and accounting.
• Process inbound RFQ’s from Regional Sales, Sales Representatives or Licensees.
• Prepare and issue written quotes to customers and proposal drawings.
• Enter orders into ERP system.
• Process and perform development project testing.
• Accompany sales personnel to conduct field measuring and/or attend customer meetings.
• Provide status reports to Engineering, Contract Sales, Sales Representatives and Customers in regards to the status of the contracted job.
• Fully support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, procedures and the GK SCOPE program.
• To understand basic business concepts and the ability to respond to customer requests.
• The ability to support territory objectives with a fluid prioritization of daily objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of capital industrial equipment work experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of computer aided design systems, preferably Autocad.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office products.
