DANCE STUDIO is Hiring a Front Office Coordinator Near Latham, NY

If so, our Front Office Coordinator role may be the perfect fit for you! As Fred Astaire Dance Studios Latham is looking for a new team member to join our team!

The first Fred Astaire Dance Studio began on Park Avenue in New York City in 1947 and since then we have become the largest ballroom dance franchise in the USA. The Latham NY location has been bringing the joy of ballroom dance to life of Capital Region residents since 1998.

We are looking for a motivated, self-initiated individual with an organized, personable, and service oriented personality. Our Front Office Coordinator would be the face of the office - from meeting new clients as they arrive to the office to working with our teachers on scheduling lessons.

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

● Manage and organize all administrative pieces for the office - answering calls/emails, reaching out to new potential clients, maintaining a CRM, and keeping records up to date

● Be the first point of contact for all students who walk through the front door and provide them with a superb customer experience

● Handle all studio scheduling and calendar management - including but not limited to the event schedule

● Oversee student accounts and related payments

● Create and market informational posters and brochures with room to grow

● Execute basic clerical duties - filing, copying, transcribing, faxing, making sure the office is always stocked and presentable

● Uphold a sense of pride and ownership of the office as the coordinator

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Ideally ~3 years proven work experience as a Receptionist, Executive Assistant, Office Administrator or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to be proactive and prioritize tasks
  • Higher education preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Work Location: In person

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: M-F 3pm- 8:30pm

Ability to commute/relocate: Latham, NY 12110: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
