Collections Specialist
Job Description
- Handle day-to-day collectionsto ensure that all accounts are followed up on ina timely manner
- Monitor accounts receivable,researchand resolvedisputes, and keep client collections activity accurate andup-to-date
- Under the directionofthe Billing Manager, assistwith ensuringthe teamis achieving productivity and quality targets in collection goals
- Provide regular reporting toManagementon outstanding A/R by client,carrierand/or adjuster
- Evaluate andcreate standard operating procedures forcollection/recovery solutions
- Workcloselywith managementtoidentify, escalate,and resolvecollectionsissues
- Special projects as directed by management, which will need advanced Excel experience
