POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for driving company vehicles and transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites; receiving, shipping, and keeping inventory of supplies; and performing general building maintenance, as requested.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - DRIVING

• Take ownership of assigned vehicles.
• Familiar with DOT requirements and procedures.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites.
• Operate delivery vehicle in safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle to ensure it is in good condition.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Complete delivery paperwork and keep accurate delivery logs.
• Maintain professionalism and integrity with all communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBIILITIES – WAREHOUSE

• Collect materials from the warehouse and safely transport materials to various job sites.
• Receive and document materials for delivery or return.
• Keep an inventory of all materials entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the appropriate managers.
• Ensure that all materials is safely and securely packed and ready for transporting.
• Manage all activies with appropriate care.
• Ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
• Ability to interact and communicate professionally and ethically with internal departments and external vendors
• Maintain positive working relationships with the team, customers, vendors, etc. and deliver excellent customer service.
• Promote a positive company image through professional business relationships.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, using effective safety measures.
• Always presents a team attitude and get the job done efficiently.
• Perform other job duties as assigned

• Perform general building maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CDL driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Experience driving a delivery truck or similar commercial vehicle
• Familiarity with traffic laws and safety regulations
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
• Basic math and record-keeping skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
