Waves Car Wash is Hiring a Customer Service Team Lead Near Milford, DE

Team Lead Reports To:

General Manager

Job Overview

As a Team Lead you’ll be responsible for opening and closing the store, handling cash, training and directing the team. You will also have to perform quality checks on interior cleaning done by the team.

You will also have to on occasion clean cars, trucks and SUV’s. This includes greeting customers; preparing cars to go through the wash tunnel; vacuuming the interior and cleaning the windows, dash, door jambs, and center console. You may also be required to perform maintenance tasks for the building and property such as, but not limited to: tunnel cleaning and maintenance, groundskeeping, pressure washing, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Completely execute Waves’ Car Wash Procedures for Express and Full Service on every car, every time
  • Participate in assigned duties such as cleaning, groundskeeping and tunnel maintenance as assigned by General Manager
  • Provide excellent customer service to every customer, every time
  • Able to perform physical tasks requiring standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, etc.
  • Leading the team

Qualifications

  • Must be able to put forth the best interest of the business and customer above their own
  • Must be a Team Player and be able to work well on your own and with others
  • Have a “Can-Do” Attitude and know that everything is “Figure-out-able”
  • Must love working outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions including but not limited to: Heat, Cold, Rain, Snow and Wet Conditions

Skills:

  • Experience working with customers (Hospitality, Retail etc)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Basic Computer and/or Point-of-Sales knowledge
  • Basic Smartphone and Mobile App knowledge
  • Possess a Valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation
  • Be able to speak, read and comprehend English
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
