Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care and treatment to patients with acute or chronic wounds. Duties:
- Assessing patients' wounds and developing individualized care plans
- Cleansing and dressing wounds using sterile techniques
- Monitoring wound healing progress and documenting changes
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Educating patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Providing emotional support to patients during the healing process
- Adhering to infection control protocols, including proper disposal of contaminated materials
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in [state]
- Proven experience as a Wound Care Nurse or similar role
