Inspire Specialty Hospital is a 31-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital. We are looking for a qualified RN Charge Nurse. This is for our night shift working12-hour, fast paced shifts caring for a variety of patient types. Our patio type ranges from ICU level ventilator patients to high acuity medical surgical patients.

The primary responsibility of the Charge Nurse is to provide nursing oversight & for medically complex patients, participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership by working cooperatively within ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the long term acute care setting.

Qualifications and Education Background

• Current Acute Care/Hospital Experience
• Recent ICU or Step-Down Experience preferred

Licensure, Registration, Certification

• A current RN License in good standing for the State of Oklahoma is required.
• BLS is required.
• ACLS is required

Special Training/Skills

• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to safely maneuver patients and supplies.
• Must be able to handle a fluctuating workload.
• This job quires ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written) with all stakeholders (providers, caregivers, patients, family members) for the effective treatment of patients.
