Lynker Technologies Job Description Lynker is searching for a Vice President for Lynker's Marine, Ocean, Coastal Science and Information (MOCSI) Division. This role is critical for the long-term growth of Lynker and will be responsible for the following:
Lead and grow the division in Protected species, Fish, and environmental/conservation programs and emerging capabilities
Take overall profit and loss responsibility for the division and deliver revenue, margin and growth against annual and strategy-defined targets
Develop and implement a culture of science, conservation, and environmental support to facilitate lasting mid-tier business growth
Pursue and win new work with existing clients in marine, ocean, and coastal science
Oversee execution of key MOCSI programs with a focus on organic growth and positioning for future opportunities
Over time, develop deep customer relationships and leverage those into opportunity for the company
Serve as technical lead for current and new solutions as the company grows and changes over time, oversee division proposals
Lead the development and use of discriminating capabilities to retain and improve current programs and develop and capture new programs with current and new customers
Oversee large multiple award IDIQ contract pursuits for NOAA and other agency work with key current customers
Serve as member of company executive team with responsibility to develop and execute supporting strategies for the company
Requirements:
Ability to successfully balance business, customer and employee requirements
Willingness to work as part of a supportive and mutually reinforcing executive tea
Client experience identifying/qualifying opportunities, and capturing work
PM experience leading and managing multiple programs/projects of significant size and complexity
Experience working across time zones and leading distributed programs/teams
Proposal experience leading volumes and writing significant portions of winning proposals
Experience working on a management team where collaboration was required
Expert communicator in both writing and in person
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a technical or scientific field
6 plus years in federal government contracting, serving in a variety of roles and functions including program management, service delivery, and business development
Experience working with PhD-level scientists and engineers
Experience working with MATOCs for federal agencies and bidding/winning work under them
Understanding of federal and state government's conservation, environmental and scientific programs
Experience developing and working with NGOs and not-for-profit organizations
