Job Title: Therapist (Flexible Hybrid Schedule)
Special Notes: This position has the ability to operate on a hybrid schedule with some onsite and some remote days. Hope Center for Children will assist with insurance paneling submissions and updates, but this position has no direct billing responsibilities.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in social work, counseling or related field with clinical licensure active in South Carolina. LPC, LMFT, or LISW are required for this position. Experience working with child victims of trauma/child welfare field for a minimum of two years. A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy. TF-CBT certification preferred. Experience with family therapy and adult therapy preferred.
Principle Responsibilities: The Therapist is responsible for delivering quality therapy, managing and minimizing risks by maintaining accurate documentation, and building internal and external partnerships.

Reports to: Director of Clinical Support Services
Scope: This full time, salaried (W2), exempt position provides therapy within the Clinical Support Services arm of Hope Center for Children (HCFC), ensuring that trauma informed therapy services are more readily available to children and families in high stress, high risk situations and children and caregivers in foster or kinship care now or in the past. The therapist builds community-based relationships so that services are based on community needs and assets; and ensures compliance with Medicaid, COA, TF-CBT and other applicable documentation standards; collaborates with accounting partners to ensure sustainability of the program.

Necessary characteristics: The successful therapist is committed to positive changes in children and is able to develop strong relationships; takes the therapeutic relationship and trauma needs of the client seriously; has strong supervisory and administrative skills. The ability and drive to move throughout the day in and out of a variety of clinical and administrative skills is a must. A desire for professional growth is necessary as evidenced by accepting and responding appropriately to constructive feedback. Strong customer service, team leadership and critical thinking skills are essential. It is important that the therapist is highly organized and demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
