Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Bagging machines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
The Machine Operator reports to the Line Leader assigned to their area in a food processing environment and is responsible for oversight of their production machine(s), helping to assist in completing daily production quotas, filling and submitting machine operator paperwork daily, and adherence to all policies, procedures, and protocols within their department and having open communication with Line Leads on their line to inform of any issues which are directly affecting the current production run and overall efficiency. Continuous spot checks on machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and escalate as needed. Load Run Numbers into the machine and verify that correct information corresponds with the Work Order. Be vigilant when entering product bags and advise the Line Leads to correct if needed. Use old or partial products first (Netting, Film, Labels) to control excess material at the end of the day. Clearing machine of product and cleaning area of debris at day end.

Ability to stand for long periods.

Ability to work in a cold environment (32º – 40ºF
