ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are currently searching for a Procurement Specialist to join our Operations team. Your primary focus will be to specialize in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services. If you have passion, knowledge, and expertise in purchasing printing and packaging materials, excellent communication and time management skills, and are self-disciplined and trustworthy, we would love to hear from you.

You'll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to do the following:

  • Collaborate across departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements
  • Locate key suppliers and negotiate cost-effective purchasing agreements with them on behalf of clients to get higher quality goods at the lowest prices possible.
  • Prepare outside vendor proposals, request quotes and negotiate pricing, terms and conditions in favor and alignment of our strategic goals.
  • Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensures that all materials and products meet quality specifications.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.
  • Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
  • Analyze subscription spending and manage outside subscriptions ensuring compliance with budgetary and organizational requirements.

You'll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:

  • Use your Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a similar field
  • Exhibit a proficiency in Google Suite and business application software, purchasing and inventory systems.
  • Demonstrate proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.

  • Optimize and streamline organizational spending, time, quantity, and sourcing of goods or services
