Sassool Cafe is a local restaurant and market with two locations. One in North Raleigh, which would be your primary work location and one in Cary. We have a grocery manager that oversees the market sections at both locations. We are looking for an assistant for him to help receive and put up shipments as well as stock the grocery area. You schedule may need to be flexible at times when receiving shipments as the delivery drivers can show up outside of normal hours. Otherwise this position will have you doing something different everyday and helping in the restaurant when there is no tasks to be completed in our market section. This role could eventually lead in to managing the grocery or other aspects of the restaurant if that is something that you are interested in.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking individual to join our team as a Grocery Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and putting up shipments from our different suppliers and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with assistance in finding products
- Stock shelves and ensure that products are neatly arranged
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues
- Offer product recommendations and assist with product demos as needed

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and maintain store appearance
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in wireless sales, electronics sales, or technical sales is a plus
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written communication
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and discounts
- Experience in jewelry sales is an asset
