Summary:
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee our onsite Graphics operations. The Supevisor of Graphics Production oversees all large format print planning and production for Hamilton.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement short-and long-term department goals
• Accomplish financial objectivessuch as estimating, inventory management, and job costing analysis
• Serves as primary contact for pre- and post-sale graphics information, in addition to subcontracted projects
• Color management of output devices and corporate colors
• Customer site visits for permanent and semi-permanent installations
• Manages production schedule by coordinating with team to successfully meet intercompany and customer deadlines
• Effectively supervises graphics production staff, including evaluating performance, coaching for continued and improved performance, solving problems, and documenting necessary information for personnel and payroll functions
• Researches and effectively proposes new technology and equipment
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude with clients, team, and other departments throughout the company
• Direct conduit between the graphics team and other departments
• Manages supplier relationships including terms, selection, training, and invoice approvals etc.
• Assists with print production and work orders when needed

Skills:

• Minimum of two years’ college in wide format graphic production industry preferred
• Two years of management experience, preferably in the wide format industry, with rigid, vinyl and fabric substrates
• Must have working knowledge of production software, hardware, wide format printing and installation
• Must be proactive in communicating with, anticipating and alerting leadership to any issues
• Demonstrates strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Demonstrates excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
• Exhibits a positive attitude with the ability to work with a variety of people and personalities, and at all levels
• Has strong initiative and is detail oriented with the ability manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Is flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, adjust to peak volume, and rush orders in a fast-paced environment
• Keeps up to date on latest trends in wide format printing and graphic production
• Committed to continuous process improvement
• Able to effectively delegate as necessary
• Works effectively with others and as a part of a team
• Able to work overtime, and at times, with short notice (events industry expectation)
