Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Assist with wound care and suture removal
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and monitoring patient conditions
- Assist with dialysis procedures and monitor patients during treatment
- Provide care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring developmental milestones
- Assist with airway management and perform CPR if necessary
- Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information
- Assist with ophthalmology procedures and provide post-operative care
- Lift and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics
- Provide acute care for patients with various medical conditions
- Administer tube feedings and monitor nutritional status
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
Skills:
- Valid LPN license in the state of [Location]
- Proficient in suture removal techniques
- Knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment
- Experience in infant care and knowledge of developmental milestones
- Competent in airway management techniques and CPR certification
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Understanding of ophthalmology procedures and post-operative care requirements
- Ability to safely lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics
- Experience in acute care settings, including monitoring patients' conditions and responding to emergencies
- Proficiency in administering tube feedings and monitoring nutritional status
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and post-procedure care
