The Bilingual Parent Educator and Visit Supervisor works with Spanish speaking families in Middlesex County. Provides in-home Parent Education in the Nurturing Parenting Program. Provide Supervised Visits to parents whose children are in Resource care or kinship placement. Provide case management and linkage to prevent placement in kinship care or foster care, or to reunify families whose children are in placement. Family issues may include; language barriers, housing, poverty, lack of access to services, substance abuse, mental heath, domestic violence, medically fragile children and children with undiagnosed disabilities. Supervisors are always available and support is extensive.

This is a full time, regular, fully benefitted, non-exempt, (meaning any overtime is paid) hourly position on weekdays and early evenings, sometimes until 7:30PM. No weekends, no crisis coverage, no afterhours coverage, and no overtime required. The salary is 37,000 to 40,000 for entry level positions.

Requires: BA or Foreign Equivalency, travel in Middlesex County, usually with an agency vehicle when transporting families, and with your own vehicle when making home visits alone and not transporting clients, with Federal mileage reimbursement of .65 per mile.
