We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene and meal preparation,
- Provide transportation for individuals to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Support individuals in developing independent living skills and achieving personal goals,
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Be compassionate, dependable professional to perform a variety of routine duties to support and instruct a young woman with high medical needs and developmental disabilities
- promote dignity, safety, and health
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
