Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation, a 123 bed Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager for our Long-Term Care Unit. RN is preferred or LPN with experience required with strong professional potential for growth.

SUMMARY OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that the residents receive care in a manner and in an environment that maintains or enhances their quality of life without abridging the safety and rights of other residents.

Supervise the day-to-day activities of the nursing staff on your assigned unit.

Provide this supervision in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be required by the Director of Nursing .

Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day function of the Nursing Department.

Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to your unit comply with the procedures set forth in the policy manual.

Participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan Meetings

Perform nursing procedures as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
