Blupoint Healthcare, a skilled nursing facility company based in Newton, MA, is currently seeking a full-time candidate for a Regional Accounts Receivable Manager. This position requires either a high school degree or a BA in Accounting or Business with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the business office of a healthcare facility.

Duties include:

• Prepares Managed Care, Mass Health, Private Pay, Coinsurance and Medicare for two (2) nursing facilites
• Sets up and maintains financial files for resident billing, admission papers, State and Medicare documents
• Performs routine collection calls to Managed Care carriers
• Follows up on outstanding balances, resolves issues and submits corrected claims when required
• Inputs documentation on all collection activity into PCC
• Reviews Payor Source Verification forms and ensures the patients set-up in PCC is accurate
• Directs processing of accounts receivable adjustments/refunds
• Posts all cash receipts
• Updates PCC with any changes in applied income
• Manages the month-end process which includes:

o Data Entry

o Census reconciliation

o Balancing cash collections

o Reviews claims and edits as needed

o Ensures all procedures are followed to achieve an accurate and timely month-end close

• Oversight and training of business office managers in two (2) nursing facilities
• Meets weekly with AR team on Medicaid Pending accounts
• Prepares AR aging for monthly meetings
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Requirements Include:

• Must have 3-5 years’ experience managing the business office of a healthcare facility (SNF preferred)
• Preferred experience with Point Click Care Software

Candidates must be detail oriented with excellent computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
