Job Description Summary
The Applications Scientist will join our Custom Solutions and Support team. This role requires scientific rigor, excellent communication skills and an ability to work on multiple biological problems at once.
The successful candidate will join an energetic team that works cross-functionally with PhenocyclerTM-Fusion and PhenoImager HT™. A background in cancer research, immunology, infectious disease biology or and neuroscience is required. Required experimental skills include a solid knowledge of immunohistochemistry (IHC), optical imaging, image- and/or bioinformatic analyses. Additional experience with highly multiplexed protein analyses, in-situ hybridization and molecular biology are considered a plus.
As a member of our group, you will be asked to work independently on projects and to extend leadership and guidance to junior team members. As such, you are not only motivated and enthusiastic about our technology, but you can also share your enthusiasm and vision with our team and the scientific community. Clear communication skills and project management skills are very important. Since our pace is very fast, agility, flexibility and an open mind are required every day.

The hiring range for this position is $81,000 - $107,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus (or a sales incentive plan) and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
