About Glenelg Country School
Glenelg Country School is a non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory school serving students from age 2 through grade 12 on 90-acre campus just minutes from Columbia, MD, with approximately 800 students.
The school welcomes candidates with a sense of teamwork who want to work in a school community. Glenelg Country School (GCS) requires a strong commitment toward working closely with students and colleagues in and out of the classroom. The successful candidate will bring to GCS a love of working with adolescents and the ability to differentiate instruction among a wide range of learners with appropriate educational technologies. GCS is a thriving community built on the holistic development of its students. All full-time Upper School teachers contribute to clubs and enrichment activities and advise a group of ten or eleven students for their entire Upper School career.
