Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting in the daily operations of our deli department.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to company standards
- Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and grills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and monitor inventory levels
- Handle cash transactions using the Aloha POS system
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Follow all food safety protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Familiarity with the Aloha POS system is a plus
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
