Job Description

Network Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. By joining this team, you will gain marketable software development and/or network operation experiences in data center networking on a massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Data centers and POPs

• Work with cross-functional teams including but not limited to network, Ops and server teams

• Work with external vendors for all network related projects, like cabling, OTN, vendor TAC etc.

Qualifications

• Good network knowledge, such as OSI and TCP/IP model

• Basic understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS and BGP

• Basic understanding of network monitoring protocols, such as SNMP, sflow/netflow, Telemetry

• Basic understanding of how network devices work, such as switches, routers.

• Basic understanding and usage of network related Linux system tools, such as tcpdump, mtr etc.

• Have experience with optical related cleaning tools and diagnostic method, like OTDR

• Have passion for networking and willing to learn.

• Self-motivated, good communication and written skills, good team player

• Hands-on experience for at least one of major network devices, such as Arista, Cisco,Juniper etc.

• coding/scripting skill is a plus
