Project Manager Structural Steel
Job Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
- MUST understand Division 5
- Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget and within the scope.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Lead and Coordinate the work of other project team members as needed;
- Manage, modify and maintain schedules. Working through issues and changes as they happen.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of structural steel fabrication and construction experience.
- Knowledge of all phases of the building construction process including pre-construction through closeout.
- Excellent time management skills. Extensive experience in cost controls and communication skills.
- Must have an understanding of Division 5.
- Experience in Structural Steel.
- Experience in ornamental metals and other features. Process and coordinating.
- Ability to Read and Understand Project Drawings and Specification Documents.
- S/W not required but a plus.
- Ability to Manage Time efficiently to Meet Production Needs.
- Job shop fabrication experience a plus. ( routings, drawing style and process )
- Knowledge of material types, grades of metals and other materials is a plus.
- Understanding of anchoring hardware, adhesives, and types of anchors, screws and hardware.
- Use of Microsoft Office programs is a plus.
- Understanding of scheduling and production methods. Lead times and forecasting.
- Review new jobs and plan kick off meetings and scheduling with General Contractors / Customers.
- Review addenda, ASI, PR, RFI, or customer requests on current contracts.
- Coordinating with Estimating department and Engineering Department.
- Attend meetings with customers as needs arise.
Compensation $80,000 Based on experience and skillsets.
