FiveBy is Hiring a Sr. Program Management Consultant - Payments Near Seattle, WA
FiveBy is looking for a Sr. Program Management Consultant in the credit card and online payments space. This role will operate as FiveBy’s senior expert within this niche and will work closely with FiveBy’s investigators and analysts to shape customized payments strategies for our clients.
As a senior consultant, the person selected for this role will provide strategic and tactical balance to FiveBy’s payment solutions delivery – they will provide insights and guidance on existing/emerging trends and best practices within the space, will be responsible for the inception, development, and delivery of client-facing proposals; and will play a pivotal role in organizing and executing efforts towards the delivery of solutions within this space.
The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive knowledge of credit card and online payments practices, tools, and regulations and a keen interest in associated technologies, industry challenges, and developing regulatory and compliance considerations. Additionally, they should be highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and an excellent communicator who is comfortable communicating ideas and findings to technical and non-technical audiences spanning from ICs to C-levels.
This is a remote role and may be seated anywhere in the US, however significant overlap with core hours in the Pacific time zone may be required.
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Stay up-to-date on policies, regulations, tools/software, and other industry news for the payments space
- Identify and analyze clients’ payments programs for gaps, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with Analytics and Insights colleagues to identify and query valuable datasets, identify areas for further analysis, and develop standard program reporting
- Synthesize data into professional reports and solutions proposals
- Maintain internal documentation/SOPs on payments topics and program guidelines
- Partnering with members of the Sales and Marketing Team on select business development efforts within the anti-fraud/risk intelligence practice area
- Interact with clients in an advisory / consultative capacity demonstrating payments ecosystem expertise
Required Experience and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a related field (i.e. Research-based science, social science, law enforcement, or another domain-related field) OR equivalent work experience
- 8 years of professional work experience within payments, ideally with experience in payments fraud prevention and/or anti-money laundering
- 3 years of experience in program management
- Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally to develop enterprise payments solutions
- Phenomenal written communication abilities; prior experience writing reports and/or proposals for executive-level consumption
- Above average verbal communication and presentation skills; prior experience presenting to small and large audiences regarding findings and proposals
Preferred Experience
- Industry-related coursework or certification (CFE, CPFPP, ACAMs, or similar)
- PMP or PgMP coursework or certification
The full salary range for this level and function within FiveBy is $107,153 to $167,604 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market of the Greater Seattle Area and may be adjusted based on the region of hire. It is common for FiveBy to start employees below the midpoint of the range. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' unique qualifications and experience.
FiveBy employees are eligible to participate in FiveBy’s group medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. FiveBy covers 100% of monthly premiums for individual employees – additional qualifying beneficiaries may be added at the expense of the sponsoring employee. FiveBy also provides 401k with determinate employer matching, 120 hours of PTO annually (pro-rata for hourly employees), and 10 paid holidays per year.

Regular, predictable attendance is required, as is the ability to work outside of standard business hours as business needs dictate.
