EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Washes and cleans automobiles, buses, trucks, and light and heavy-duty automatic equipment in accordance with prescribed schedules and processes; services vehicles and other automotive equipment with gasoline and oil; checks tires; installs and services batteries; replaces light bulbs; maintains records of services; performs related work as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Knowledge of: Servicing and cleaning methods of light, heavy duty equipment, buses, automobiles, and trucks.Tools, materials, and equipment used in battery, gasoline, and diesel operated equipment maintenance, including bolts and nuts.Wrench sizes and their proper use.Safe work practices.Ability to: Perform general maintenance, service, and cleaning of battery, gasoline, and diesel engines.Skillfully use a variety of hand tools in equipment maintenance and cleaning.Assist others with routine vehicle maintenance.Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.Communicate effectively orally and in writingPLEASE NOTE: **As of August 24, 2021, the City of Montebello implemented a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
