Description

Responsible for maintaining the Blackbaud database and monitoring user security. Creating ad hoc reporting for company leadership as well as investigating ways to improve processes, informing staff of new features and providing associated training. This person would also be responsible for maintenance and monitoring of other donor centric programs used to further the organization's mission and philanthropic goals.

  • Maintain the Blackbaud database.
  • Prepare reports from Blackbaud providing financial analysis and information, using created queries and canned reporting.
  • Ability to analyze complex lists and donor driven financial reports and provide reporting and/or recommendations based on that analysis.
  • Ability to anticipate the reporting needs of the leadership team and other staff, asking appropriate questions to ensure correct and accurate results.
  • Generate mailing lists and email lists as needed for the Marketing and Philanthropy departments.
  • Assist Philanthropy associates in maintaining their portfolios.

Qualifications

• Accounting experience preferred, organizational skills and proficiency in the preparation of correspondence required.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in the entry of data into various types of software is essential.
• Must be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in the use of the Blackbaud or similar donor and philanthropy related products preferred. 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills a must.
