CGCC is looking for student interns interested in working alongside CGCC Faculty and Industry Professionals on two special projects. These projects include work on either the repair of a greenhouse facility, or the installation of a playground in the The Dalles.

Requirements

• Interns should have experience with CTE classes in Welding, Automotive Mechanics, Construction Trades, or a related field.
• Interns will be expected to be able to work between 2-5 days for 8 hours a day at a rate of $19.00 an hour. 
• Interns will need to be comfortable working with their hands, and have a basic understanding of tool use. 

Internships will happen in late June/Early July with a start date announced upon completion of the application process. Students outside of the Dalles are eligible to apply, and a transportation stipend is available for students who reside outside of the City limits.

This position is only open to regional high school aged students who have taken a CTE class at a regional institution, or similarly aged individuals who can, through submission of a letter of intent, show equivalent work or instructional experience.
