Position SummaryWe are seeking a creative and dynamic Brand Specialist to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence, assisting with content creation across digital platforms, and supporting our sales team in managing promotional materials and event coordination. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building brand awareness and engaging with our community through innovative marketing strategies.
Essential Job Functions
  • Social Media Management: Develop and manage a social media calendar. Regularly schedule and post content across various social media channels to engage audiences and promote brand visibility.
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling content for digital media, including social media posts, website articles, intranet updates, and sales brochures.
  • Website Maintenance: Perform minor content updates and edits using backend systems such as WordPress. Ensure website content reflects current marketing strategies and brand messaging.
  • Email Marketing Support: Help design and implement email marketing campaigns, including theme development and messaging to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Graphic Design: Collaborate on graphic design projects, creating visuals for social media, email marketing, and other branding efforts.
  • Video Production: Assist in the creation of video content for use on social media platforms, in email marketing campaigns, and on the company website.
  • Event and Trade Show Coordination: Assist with the organization and management of trade shows and sponsorship events to support the sales team and enhance brand exposure.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the distribution and management of marketing inventory, including sales brochures and promotional items, ensuring availability and alignment with marketing goals.
Essential Job RequirementsEDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Proven experience in a marketing related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation.
  • Strong skills in graphic design.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and website content management preferred.
  • Experience with video editing software preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and brand aesthetics.
Physical RequirementsThis position will be working primarily indoors in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment, but also requires the employee to be moving through other areas on a regular basis. From this movement, the employee will encounter varying temperatures from these areas. The normal auto and air travel hazards will apply. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be higher in other areas.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching.
Must have command of sight, hearing, touch and smell. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements in each area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to closed forms.
