Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team.

• Assist the operations of the billing and payroll departments, encompassing charge entry, submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable and payroll processing follow-up.
• Assists in the planning and direction of patient billing / collections and data processing to ensure accurate billing, efficient account collection, and caregiver payment.
• Analyze billing, claims, time and attendance, and payroll systems for accuracy and completeness; submit data to proper entities and follow up on any issues using various systems.
• Maintains contacts with other departments to obtain and analyze additional patient and caregiver information to document and process billing and payroll.
• Ensures that the activities of the billing and payroll operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and are in compliance with Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements.
• Answer incoming calls related to billing and payroll questions.
• Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
