Specialty Hospital of Lorain is located on the second floor of UH Amherst Health Center at 254 Cleveland Avenue in Amherst.
Not only does Specialty Hospital of Lorain provide excellent care, we strive to anticipate the needs of our patients. We take care of our patients as if they are one of our own family. Specialty Hospital of Lorain is the only long term acute care (LTAC) facility in Lorain County. It features 28 beds for patient care and is staffed with nurses who are certified in advanced cardiac life support.
Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating and providing high-quality patient care, supervising non-professional team members, and participating in an interdisciplinary team effort of care planning, evaluation, coordination, and discharge planning. Maintains competency in providing nursing care to patients from young adults to geriatric age.
Education: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in an acute hospital preferred. Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
License: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio and Certified in Basic Life Support.

Qualifications
