Position Summary: Reporting to the Vice President, Cardiology Services and working in a dyad relationship with the Medical Director(s) for Clinical Research, develops, implements, and directs all research activities to remain consistent with the organizations Mission, comply with regulatory standards, and achieve desired goals. Will spend approximately 50% of time actively engaged in research protocol(s). Experience Required: Minimum of three (3) years Clinical Research management experience in an active, hospital-based Clinical Research Program. Minimum of five (5) years as an active participant in clinical research protocols. Demonstrated experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines |
Education Required: Bachelor of Science degree in a related field Preferred: Masters Degree preferred |
License and Credentials Required: Clinical license / credential, e.g., RN, PA, Pharmacist Preferred: CITI certification, or equivalent |
Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including WORD, EXCEL, and POWER POINT; well organized, detail oriented, multi-tasking; strong interest in clinical research; Must become proficient with Hospital-based research/grant software. FT 80 hours per pay period |
