• Leadership:

- Provide strategic leadership to the executive team and lead engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Hire and develop a team of skilled engineers, promoting a high-performance and results-driven environment

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with overall business objectives.

- Prepare the annual Engineering budget and forecasts, as well as all Capital Expenditure plans. From project identification to completion, manage the budget.

• Technical Strategy:

- Define and execute the product and technical roadmap in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance the platform's performance, security, and user experience.

- Ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems to support current and future business needs.

• Team Management:

- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering team.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Augment capacity via external tech powerhouse wherever deemed applicable

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (8 years) in a leadership role within a technology-driven company.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development.

• Experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 3 years experience in crypto/payments products
• Worked in startups and ambiguous setup
