- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with a B2B niche product experience is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfort with public speaking
- Ability to build strong relationships with key legal leaders throughout the state
- Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down
- Reliable transportation
- 1 day in office/Attend Kansas City and St. Louis events
- Report on and write news and feature stories for the company's legal publications
- Attend and cover appropriate legal events
- Develop innovative ideas for writing legal news
- Stay up to date on the latest legal news and events
- Research legal stories and prepare interview questions as required
- Discuss and develop ideas to write strong and sophisticated stories to attract readers
- Research, write and submit stories within established timelines
- Write legal stories in unique and interesting ways to increase readership
