What Will Set You Apart

  • 3 years’ experience in FTL freight brokerage.
  • Ability to determine shippers’ needs and know how to earn and keep their business.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism and good customer service skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!

What You Will Do

As a Customer Operations Rep you will be responsible for managing freight, providing exceptional customer service, and proactively mitigating issues through problem solving. In this role, you will be comfortable with supporting the Sales team from quoting freight, building loads, scheduling appointments, load board, and customer relationship management.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for your customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Own freight acceptance and commitments to awards and spot opportunities.
  • Load and route planning.
  • Manage load volumes and work with your team on execution.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOP) and management for each customer account.
  • Develop knowledge of your accounts to include all shipping and receiving points.
  • Problem-solve through issues that occur before, during, or after transit.
  • Address any potential issues or delays in a proactive and efficient manner to your customers.
  • Collaborate with the carrier sales team to optimize routes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to trucking and logistics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
