Peppertree Hospitality Group is Hiring a Front Desk Supervisor Near Spokane, WA

Base Pay: $20 per hour

Front Desk Supervisor Role Overview:

You will be an integral leader within the hotel, working in lockstep with the General Manager to oversee all facets of hotel operations. This includes guest relations, front desk efficiency, housekeeping excellence, maintenance operations, financial oversight, team building, and staff development. You will supervise department heads, ensuring seamless operations and the highest standards of guest service. In the absence of the General Manager, you assume full responsibility for the hotel, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the hotel's operational leader in the absence of the General Manager, overseeing all aspects and ensuring excellence in guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Approve and oversee the implementation of plans, budgets, and staffing across key departments, including rooms, housekeeping, maintenance, and security.
  • Vigilantly monitor the budget, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Serve as a crucial administrative link among departments, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
  • Oversee internal cost control procedures, ensuring operations remain within financial targets.
  • Coordinate and enhance training programs, fostering staff development and operational excellence.
  • Support the General Manager in strategic planning, including the development of long-range plans, operating reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Ensure the hotel adheres to safety standards and that employees follow safety procedures. Update and train staff on emergency plans and procedures.
  • Address and resolve complaints from guests and employees, ensuring satisfaction and operational integrity.
  • Champion the hotel’s preventive maintenance and energy management programs, ensuring sustainable and efficient operations.
  • Conduct ongoing facility inspections to maintain standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across the hotel.
