Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Provides support to entire sales team, to assist in the acquisition and maintenance of new and existing customers. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary. Answers phone for sales department and channels sales leads to appropriate Sales Representative. Completes all documents, correspondence, etc. in a timely and accurate fashion. Ensures all documentation is complete, properly distributed and filed. Produces various sales reports. Responds to more complex customer inquiries in absence of Sales Representative, or Sales Manager. Type’s miscellaneous correspondence. Depending upon department size and complexity, may provide assistance to other departments. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification and 2 years experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent job duties. Associate degree or some college level coursework. Related training or certification. Experience with confidential files, documents and other information. Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
