Quality Lab Analyst
We have a great opportunity to join a well-known flavor & fragrance company to work as a Quality Lab Analyst. In this role you will be evaluating flavoring products and incoming ingredients by performing sensory evaluations or basic physical or analytical tests.
Job Summary
Pay: $26-$30
Shift: 1st

• Identify and document non-conforming product and apply simple corrections
• Perform basic equipment calibrations and support miscellaneous laboratory functions
• Enter tests results into computer resulting in an approval or rejection
• Analytical testing that includes but not limited to SG, RI, OR % alcohol (GC)
• Support miscellaneous laboratory functions that include but are not limited to pre-ship sample process, filling (retain samples)
• Analyze and collect data for investigation
• Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA and internal safety guidelines
• Attend site training meetings
• Support and participate on improvement projects related to quality, food safety, safety, problem solving, lean manufacturing
• Excellent attendance, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive approach
• Other laboratory tasks might be requested on the business needs

Qualifications

• HS Diploma
• Chemistry or lab techniques experience
• 2-3 manufacturing background (food or chemical preferred)
• SAP experience
• Computer skills
• Strong written and verbal English skills
