Controller

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a hands-on Controller to serve as a key financial leader and strategic partner to the CFO. This role combines leadership with day-to-day ownership of accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and informed decision-making across the business.

Compensation: $180,000 – $200,000 base bonus

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reports to: CFO

Core Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
• Own month-end close and external audit processes
• Oversee internal controls, cash flow, and risk management
• Partner with leadership on strategy and financial planning
• Lead and develop the accounting team
• Drive process and system improvements
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Prior leadership experience (Controller or strong #2)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
• ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred)
• Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally
