Chemical Lab Technician

Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent Manufacturer in the Reedsville, PA area, is seeking a Chemical Lab Technician to join their team. This position will support manufacturing and quality operations by performing HPLC based chemical analyses on raw materials, in process samples, and finished products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, compliance, and data integrity.

Chemical Lab Technician Summary

Temp to Permanent

Night Shift: Wed-Fri, every other Sat (8:00 PM - 8:15 AM)

Pay: Up to $31.25/hour, $1 shift differential

• Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis using HPLC
• Conduct routine sample preparation, testing, and reporting
• Analyze and interpret chromatograms to ensure accurate and reliable results
• Support test method validation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods against specifications
• Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation and records
• Enter test data into computer systems and generate reports
• Collaborate with team members to support departmental goals
• Follow lab safety protocols and quality standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  
  

Chemical Lab Technician Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience (academic or industrial)
• Exposure to HPLC instrumentation preferred but not required
• Experience in a quality or manufacturing environment a plus
• Strong knowledge of chemical testing and documentation practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  
  

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Standing and walking approximately 85 percent of work time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice.
• Typical lab environment with work benches and equipment.
