Project Manager (Zing)

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent industrial manufacturing company, is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to join their team! This is a technical, customer-facing role offering full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing, with the opportunity to manage projects from order through installation and commissioning.

Project Manager Job Summary

Pay: $85,000 – $95,000 annually

Schedule: Monday – Friday (standard business hours; flexibility required for project needs)

• Own projects from order intake through manufacturing, field installation, and commissioning
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, engineering, and production teams
• Track project budgets, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Lead customer communication and internal production/engineering reviews
• Coordinate mechanical and controls requirements across teams
• Support inspections, quality checks, and invoicing follow-ups
• Ensure projects meet quality, timeline, and customer satisfaction goals
• Occasional domestic and international travel required
  
  

Project Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent experience
• 5 years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing or OEM environments
• Experience managing capital equipment or industrial machinery projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, and technical documentation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Proficiency in Excel for tracking schedules, budgets, and reporting
• Experience working directly with engineering teams and shop floor/production environments
• Strong customer communication and coordination skills
• Experience with municipal, wastewater, or industrial equipment is a plus
