Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic pathology analysis, with a focus on oncology cases
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory and medical regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional medical teams on case reviews
- Support research and clinical trials through pathology expertise
- Contribute to quality control and assurance processes
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent combination of education, training, and recent, relevant industry experience is required
- Experience diagnosing cancer and analyzing tumors
- Strong background in surgical pathology, including IHC
- Ability to work standard business hours (no nights or weekends)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Board certification in Pathology required
- Hospital-based pathology experience
- Experience with tumor analysis and oncology-related workflows
- Familiarity with AI algorithms in pathology or image analysis
- Experience with IHC-supervised annotation for tumor identification
- Detail-oriented and precise in diagnostic work
- Collaborative and team-focused mindset
- Open to feedback and continuous learning
- Comfortable handling complex pathology cases
- Individual contributor mindset (not focused on leadership roles)
