This is a highly hands-on role overseeing all aspects of information technology, including systems administration, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, field sales and operations technology, and end-user support. You'll lead our IT team to keep operations running smoothly while supporting 200 employees across corporate and field locations.The ideal candidate thrives in a lean environment, can wear multiple hats, and bridges the gap between corporate IT needs and field operations requirements. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure & Systems ManagementManage and maintain all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, telecommunications, and cloud servicesAdminister Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet) for 200 users across multiple locationsOversee NetSuite ERP system including user management, customizations, integrations, and reportingSupport and maintain our custom-built CRM system, working with development partners on enhancements and troubleshootingEnsure 99% uptime for mission-critical systems supporting sales, operations, and installation teamsManage relationships with vendors, contractors, and technology partnersHandle day-to-day system administration tasks alongside strategic planningField Operations TechnologySupport mobile technology needs for 100 field installers and sales representativesManage mobile devices (phones/tablets), mobile app deployments, and field connectivityTroubleshoot field access to Google Drive, custom CRM mobile functionality, and job documentationWork with operations to ensure field teams can access blueprints, permits, and customer data on-siteSupport GPS tracking and photo documentation tools integrated within our systemsBe responsive to field tech issues that impact job completion—these are time-sensitiveUser Support & TrainingLead a small IT support team while remaining hands-on with tier 2/3 technical issuesManage helpdesk ticketing system and ensure timely resolution (you'll handle many tickets yourself)Personally onboard new employees with equipment setup, accounts, and system accessCreate documentation and training materials for Google Workspace, NetSuite, and custom CRMSupport remote and hybrid work technology requirementsBe the go-to person when systems have issues—you're the escalation pointStrategic Planning & ProjectsDevelop IT roadmap aligned with business objectives while working within budget constraintsEvaluate and recommend technologies to improve efficiency without unnecessary complexityManage lean IT budget, maximizing value from every technology investmentLead system implementation projects for NetSuite enhancements and custom CRM updatesBuild scalable IT processes that support growth without significantly increasing headcountWork with external developers/vendors on custom CRM modifications and integrationsData & ReportingPartner with finance and operations teams on NetSuite reporting and dashboard needsManage data integrations between custom CRM, NetSuite, project management tools, and other systemsTroubleshoot data sync issues and ensure data accuracy across platformsSupport business intelligence initiatives within NetSuite's reporting capabilitiesWork with CRM development partners on data structure improvementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)5 years of progressive IT experience with at least 2 years in a management or senior technical roleStrong hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration (user management, security, groups, etc.) and Microsoft Office365 administrationExperience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP systems (administration, customizations, reporting)Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity fundamentals, and cloud infrastructureProven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independentlyExperience working in lean IT environments where you "wear many hats"Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesSelf-starter mentality with ability to prioritize and manage multiple urgent issues simultaneouslyValid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally to field locations (10-15%)Why Work at Zeo Energy?Be part of an innovative team dedicated to renewable energy and sustainabilityOpportunities for professional growth and advancement in a growing industryCompetitive pay, benefits, and a supportive work environmentZeo Energy is an equal-opportunity employer.
