Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Mount Vernon, Washington.
The selected candidate will provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a variety of medical conditions and emergencies. Candidates must hold an active Washington State RN license and maintain all required emergency nursing certifications.
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Provide emergency nursing care for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and critical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation using EPIC.
- Follow established patient safety, infection control, and emergency care protocols.
Required Qualifications and Certifications
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
Pay: $2,200.00 - $2,500.00 per week
