Position: Sterile Processing Technician – Days
Location: Newport, OR 97365
Contract: 13 Weeks with Possible Extension
Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year
Responsibilities
- Clean, decontaminate, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for procedures.
- Follow established infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
- Ensure instruments and equipment meet quality and safety standards.
- Support the surgical team by maintaining readiness of instruments and equipment.
- Follow department policies and applicable safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant sterile processing experience.
- National certification required: CSPDT or CRCST.
- Knowledge of instrument cleaning, decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,670.00 per week
