Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ED/RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Lebanon, Oregon. The ideal candidate will provide emergency care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including critical cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and urgent mental health cases.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and critical medical conditions.
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on the severity of their conditions.
- Provide care for cardiac emergencies, trauma cases, and pediatric patients.
- Assist with emergency procedures and coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide urgent mental health care as needed.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
- Maintain compliance with emergency department protocols and patient safety standards.
- Work rotating weekends and holidays as required.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at submission.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
- Current ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred.
- Ability to work varied shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
Pay: $2,320.00 - $2,360.00 per week
